•
Clean the motor shaft (C) and the rotor drilling (A), and lightly grease the motor shaft
afterwards. Dirt particles between the motor shaft and the rotor hinder a perfect seating
of the rotor and cause an irregular operation.
•
Place the rotor vertically on the motor shaft. The driver areas (D) of the motor shaft
must be located in the groove (B) of the rotor. The alignment of the groove is labelled
on the rotor.
•
Tighten up the clamping nut of the rotor by turning it clockwise by hand.
•
Check the rotor for firm seating.
•
Loosening the rotor: Loosen the tensioning nut by turning anti-clockwise. Turn the
tensioning nut until the rotor is able to be lifted from the motor shaft.
10 Arming the rotor
•
Always fill the centrifuge containers outside the centrifuge.
•
Ensure, by eye, that the containers are filled to a uniform level.
•
Load positions located opposite one another equally.
•
Ensure that the rotor is correctly positioned and secured.
•
The weight of the permissible filling quantity is specified on each rotor. This weight may not be exceeded.

display flashes in seconds until the lid is opened or a key is activated.
11.2 Rotation
area
The rotation area contains the rotation display, which illuminates and rotates anti-clockwise whilst the rotor is turning.
When the symbols lights up, the rotor is stationary and the lid can be opened.
When the lid is unlocked, the symbol lights up.
11.3 Time
area
This area contains the running time display and the and arrows, with which the switch-on time can be
preselected or changed during operation.
When stationary, the preselected switch-on time is displayed, as well as the remaining run time during operation. The
