Switching the cycle counter on or off and setting the maximum permissible number of run cycles
After exchanging the electronics, the cycle counter is switched off.
For centrifuges with rotors whose period of use is limited to a certain number of run cycles (centrifugation
runs), the cycle counter must be activated and the maximum permissible number of run cycles (centrifugation
runs) of the rotor must be set.
The rotors in question are labeled with the maximum permissible number of run cycles.
For centrifuges with rotors whose period of use is not limited, the cycle counter is not required and should
therefore be deactivated.
With the rotor at a standstill, the settings can be made as follows:
The procedure can be aborted at any time by pressing the
STOP
OPEN
key. In this case, the settings are not stored.
