When indirectly connecting the
appliance to the battery (using a
jumper), the measurement cannot
be performed entirely correctly and
the test result will deviate slightly
from the actual state of the battery.
Therefore, if in doubt, remove
the battery and test it while it is
uninstalled.
3.4.4 Selecting the battery test standard
and value
The appliance tests batteries according to
the standard which has been selected.
After selecting the battery type and the con-
nection position, the test standard according
to which the battery is to be tested and the
cold-start current must be specified.
