3.1. When installing the appliance, the following regulations must be observed

•  

Applicable national laws in force;

•  Regional and/or local regulations, such as building 

regulations;

•  Directives and regulations stipulated by the local 

electricity supplier;

•  Accident prevention regulations in force;
•  Fire prevention regulations;

3.2. In order to correctly use the appliance, please respect the warnings below

•  

The appliance must never be left unattended when
in use!

•  The appliance is designed for professional use 

and therefore should only be used by qualifi ed 
personnel.

•  Care must be taken when using the appliance 

because the cooking surfaces become very hot.

• The appliance should be installed under an 

extractor hood so that cooking fumes can be 
removed.

•  Respect a minimum distance of 80 mm between 

the appliance and all walls made of fl amma-
ble material, partitions, kitchen furniture or 

adjacent equipment.

•  The surfaces in contact with the appliance must 

be covered with non-combustible heat insulating 
material.

•  The appliance, particularly the power lead, must 

not be installed anywhere near heat sources.

•  The temperature of the environment in which the 

appliance is installed and the temperature of the 
external parts of the appliance itself must not 
exceed 50°C.

•  Switch the appliance off in the case of a failure 

or malfunction.

3.3. Connection to the distribution network & characteristic of cable

Power supply features:
The alternating current power supply to the unit 
must meet the following conditions:
•  Maximum voltage variation ± 10%
•  Maximum frequency change ± 1% in continuous 

± 2% for a short period of time.

The appliance power supply must be protected 

against overcurrent (short circuits and overload) 
with fuses or properly sized circuit breakers.
The installer must connect up the appliance by po-
sitioning an easily accessible main switch that dis-
connects all poles supplying electrical power to the 
appliance. When contacts are open, there must be 
a minimum distance of 3 mm between the poles.
