•  Switch the appliance off during service and when replacing parts.
•  Do not touch with bare hands the cap for the outfl ow of the liquid fats because it may 

reach high temperatures. Before touching it wear heat-proof gloves or use a tool.

•  When using the appliance, wear gloves for cooking and clothing that covers the entire 

body.

•  Switch the appliance off in the event of a fault or malfunction.
•  Please be extremely careful and contact the technical support service if any parts or 

components come loose.

•  The appliance should be checked once a year by a qualifi ed technician.
•  Only for the Australia and New Zealand markets: the electricity supply system must include 

a protection compliant with the standard AS/NZS 3000.

•  

If the appliance is installed in line:

  a. Respect the minimum clearance distance of 80 mm between the appliance and any 

walls made of fl ammable material, partitions, kitchen furniture or nearby equipment.

  b. The surfaces in contact with the appliance must be covered with a noncombustible 

heat insulation material such as mineral wool, glass wool or ceramic fi bre.

• 

 In case of stand-alone installation detached from other products:

  a. Only for models less wide than 700 mm, to ensure static stability of freestanding (placed 

on the fl oor) electric bratt pans it is mandatory to install the fi xation bracket to the fl oor so 
that the appliance is constrained to the fl oor (following fi gure 0). For the assembly follow 
the instruction in this booklet. The fi xation bracket is provided and can also be ordered 
after the purchase.
