Installation
It is recommended to leave the unit until installation in the original packaging to avoid possible damages and soiling.
The fans are delivered in standard execution as a a complete unit, i.e. ready to plug in.They can be mounted in any
position -horizontal, -vertical, -diagonal .
All work must be carried out with the equipment fully isolated from the power supply.
3.1
Installation to ducting
When installing heed to obviate body sound transmission, e.g by using pipe clamp connectors( type BM..., accesso-
ries) when installing in ducts. When installing in ducts make sure that there is a sufficiently long, straight piece of duct in
front and behind the fan as otherwise considerable performance reduction and noise increase will result.
The max. fan performance can only be achieved if unhindered suction and discharge is provided. For a suffi-
cient cooling of the motor a minimum air flow area of 20% of the fan cross section must be guaranteed.
3.2
Installation to wall and ceiling elements
Use mounting bracket
MK 4
(accessories, fig. 2-3) to mount the fan to a wall or ceiling. To avoid vibration transmission
to wall/ceiling insert some elastic material between the bracket and wall/ceiling.
