6.1 Arrangement of smoke detectors in corridors and hallways 

and in special spatial geometries 

In corridors and hallways with a maximum width of 3 m, the distance be-
tween two smoke detectors must not exceed 15 m. The distance to the front 
side of the corridor must not exceed 7.5 m.
