To turn it on again:
- Let the engine cool down.
- Press the fuse button
- Turn the machine on again.
In the event of a power failure, the machine does not switch on when the power is re-connected.
RELEASING BLOCKED MATERIAL
- Turn the rotation direction switch to the ‘Reverse’ position. After pressing the ‘Start’
button, the blade cylinder rotates in the reverse direction to release the stuck material.
- After releasing the material, set the rotation direction switch to the ‘Pull In’ position.
You can continue the work after pressing the ‘Start’ button.
Adjust the distance of the pressure plate from the blade cylinder in case of the machine being
repeatedly blocked by the crushed material.
PRESSING PLATE
Is a plate which the material is pressed by onto the crushing roller and its correct setting is therefore
very important for the proper operation of the crusher. Many users unnecessarily visit a service just
because of a poorly set pressure plate, believing that the machine is not working well.
• The pressure plate must be adjusted correctly prior to the first start and if the crushing result
is not satisfactory. The running-in of a new machine may require adjustment of the pressure
plate in shorter time intervals.
PRESSURE PLATE ADJUSTMENT
CAUTION!
A
Use safety goggles during the adjustment!
When setting the pressure plate, it is necessary to have the engine turned on so that
the teeth of the crushing roller rotate forward (‘Pull In’ position). There is a risk of
damage to the machine during reverse operation!!! Never use reverse when adjusting.
Never adjust the pressure plate when the machine is switched off.
• On the side of the filling channel there is a screw that adjusts the distance of the pressure
plate from the crushing roller. This distance should be as small as possible, in the range of
0 to 0.5 mm to achieve the best possible crushing result.
- Clean the collection box and the crushing roller from all dirt and debris.
- The rotation direction switch must be in the ‘Pull In’ position.
- Turn the machine on by pressing the ‘Start’ button.
- Turn the butterfly screw very slowly clockwise until you hear that the crushing roller
starts machining the pressure plate. Run into it by very gentle and slow rotation.
- Leave the engine running until the sound is no longer heard. (The sharp crushing roller
is de facto a milling cutter that machines the pressure plate.)
- Do not use the reverse operation in this section! The crushing roller would get ‘blocked’
with destructive effects not covered by the warranty!
- Turn the machine off and open the collection box. You should find fine metal filings in it.
