5.4 Install Pop-Up Source Capture Vent (Optional)
Visit www.HealthyAir.com to download the manual with complete installation
instructions for the HealthyAir® Source Capture
®
“Pop-Up” Vent.
The HealthyAir
®
Source Capture®
“Pop-Up” Vent provides an alternative to the
use of extraction arms for source capture at the point of chemical application.
The Single-Inlet provides source capture for a single station, and the Dual Inlet
Pop-Up Vent serves two stations that are adjacent to one another.
The Pop-Up unit is designed to be installed in a table or work surface and
integrated with the HealthyAir
®
Source Capture Fan-Filter Exhauster System,
as shown in Fig. 4.
The innovative design of this patented product enables the 8"x6" inlet vent to
"Pop-up" when the system is in use. When inactive, the vent may be
"Pushed-down" to hide it from view. The result is a system that offers
increased collection efficiency, optimized airflow, aesthetically appealing
design and simplicity of use.
Note that, the HealthyAir
®
Source Capture Fan-Filter Exhauster System can
either be set to exhaust in the room, as a Recirculating Ventilation system, or
exhaust to outside, as an Outside Ventilation system, and unit can either be
located near the table or positioned in a remote location.
