Configuration
Clear Configuration
If an old configuration is set, it is possible to clear it and start a new configuration by
pressing the “new” button (number
7
). Be aware this operation will discard all
previous unsaved configurations of all channels.
AutoScan
When autoscan (number
1
) is performed for the first time, the interrogator
executes a measuring sweep and the BraggMONITOR DI defines a new configuration with
all the found sensors. This configuration sets the current measured wavelength as cen
tral wavelength (λ
0
) with a default range of 2.5 nm that can be edited to a minimum of
0.5 nm.
Important
Confirm that gain and threshold values are correctly defined so that no sensor is left out
and that no noise is configured as a sensor (see section «Measurement Configuration»). If
the interrogator sample rate is defined to 1 kHz (1000 S/s), the defined gain value should
be higher to compensate for a loss in optical power.
Sensor Names are set by default as CHxSzzz, where x is the optical channel and zzz is
the number of the sensor on that optical channel ordered by wavelength.
