. Run the machine for 30 seconds at idle speed, press the throttle lock (7), then hold throttle lever (8)
to increase the speed. When the throttle lever(8) is depressed approximately 50% the throttle lock (16)
can be pressed if required. This will hold the throttle at this point. To disengage the cold start switch
squeeze the throttle lever fully and release.
WARNING!
If the brush cutter vibrates excessively. STOP the engine immediately and
investigate the cause.

. Adjusting line length while working:
This machine is fitted with a Bump to Feed Line. To release more line, tap the cutting line head
against the ground with the engine at top speed; the line will be released automatically and the blade
fixed on the safety guard will cut off the excess length.

. If you encounter any problems, turn the engine switch to the ‘O’ position to turn off the engine
and the machine will stop.
