8.4.2.2 Encryption
The HWPS12UG supports the WEP encryption
standard to enhance the security of your wireless
LAN. WEP is an authentication algorithm, which
protects your wireless data from unauthorized users.
If using WEP in your wireless network, please set the
authentication type and WEP key of your print server
to the same settings as your wireless station, router,
or access point. The HWPS12UG supports 64/128-bit
WEP encryption. With WEP enabled, your data will
be transmitted over the wireless network securely.
WEP Mode / Key Length: You can choose to
“Disable” the WEP function. You also can choose to
