5.2 Setup safety notes
NOTE: TRANSPORT DAMAGE
Check the stove for possible transport damage on delivery:
► Cracks/broken off firebricks in the firebox.
►
Damaged glass pane.
►
Damaged controller.
►
Refuse delivery if you notice obvious damage.
►
Contact your HASE authorised dealer.
NOTE: CONDENSATION ATMOSPHERE
Condensation can form during stove transport which can cause water to leak
from the stove and the flue pipes:
►
Thoroughly dry moist areas with a suitable cleaning cloth.
NOTE: BLASTING MATERIAL
The surface of the stove is sandblasted prior to painting.
Even with careful inspection, residues may be found inside the body of the
stove and come loose and fall out during setup:
►
Immediately vacuum up the steel beads with a vacuum
to prevent damaging the floor.
NOTE: FLOORING
Transporting or moving the stove improperly can damage the flooring and the
stove:
►
Use suitable materials and protective mats to protect the
stove and the floor.
WARNING: FLAMMABLE FLOORING
When installing on flammable flooring, the flooring must be protected from
hot embers and ash particles falling from the stove.
► Flammable flooring materials (e.g. safety glass, wood, laminate,
carpeting) must be protected with a floorplate made of
non-combustible material (e.g. tiles, safety glass, slate, or
sheet steel).
► The floorplate must extend at least 50 cm in front of and at least
30 cm to the side of the combustion chamber.
