Notes
• ...is receiving a stream from an NVR it can not decrypt.
Keep the following in mind when dealing with encryption passwords:
• When playing a recording, the Decoder's encrypted password must
match the encrypted password that the Encoder used when the
recording was created.
• Similarly, when converting an encrypted recording, the NVR's
encrypted password must match the encrypted password that the
Encoder used when the recording was created.
To reset the password, go to the
Security
page (on either the NVR or
the Decoder). Refer to the
section on page 35 if you are
not sure where to find this setting.

Notes
• ...is receiving stream with HDCP
encrypted data.
This screen will be displayed on playback if the recorded stream
contained HDCP content. Call your AV installer or SVSI tech support
for assistance.
