Damper Solenoid Replacement Instructions

Step #

Operation Description

Visual Aids/Comments

Remove female quick connect terminals from damper
solenoid.

Using needle nose pliers, open top link in lift chain and
remove from solenoid.

Using a 5/16" wrench or other suitable tool, remove the
three screws holding the Damper Solenoid to the
electrical panel.

Install new damper solenoid in reverse order. Make
sure chain is straight above the flapper lifter as shown.
There should be tension in the chain when the flapper is
in the down position.
