17. If it is necessary to flush the coolant channels, Figure 2.28 or 2.29:
A) Remove the fittings from the coolant nipple, Figure 2.28 or 2.29.
B) Remove the channel plug, Figure 2.28 or 2.29.
C) Use a hose to feed coolant into the coolant nipple and the channel plug opening to flush
chips and shavings from the coolant channels.
D) Remove any chips or shavings flushed from the coolant channels.
E) Drain any coolant present from the coolant tank.
F) Install the channel plug.
G) Install the fittings on the coolant nipple.
