3. Pull the filter (19) with gasket (20) out of
the union nut (21) using tweezers or a
pair of pliers. Rinse the filter under fresh
water and clean with a small, soft brush if
necessary.
4. If the filter or gasket are defective, replace
them with new ones.
5. Re-insert the filter and gasket and screw
the water inlet hose back onto the valve.
6. Unscrew the water inlet hose from the
appliance.

7. Use tweezers or pliers to remove the
filter (22) from the water inlet hose con-
necting nozzle (13). Rinse the filter under
fresh water and clean with a small, soft
brush if necessary.
8. Re-insert the filter and screw the water
inlet hose back onto the water inlet hose
connecting nozzle.
9. Open the valve to check whether the wa-
ter inlet hose and connections are sealed.
Cleaning the lint trap

moving the lint trap.

When draining in an emergency, sub-
stantial amounts of water can leak
out.
1. Turn off the appliance and pull the mains
plug out of the socket.
2. Close the valve.

3. Open the shutter of the lint trap (11) with a
flat object, e.g. the partition (d).
4. Place a suitable container underneath the
lint trap.
5. Only open the lint trap anticlockwise to
the point where water flows out. You will
have to empty the collection container
every now and then.
