Operation
Shelves and door shelves
The glass shelves and the door shelves can
be taken out and repositioned if necessary.
You will achieve the most efficient use of en-
ergy for your appliance if you combine the
drawers, glass shelves and door shelves as
shown in the diagram on page EN-10.
1. Lift the back of the door shelves slightly to
remove them.
2. Remove the door shelves by lifting them
upwards.
Setting the temperature
CAUTION
Health hazard!
The appliance may not operate proper-
ly if exposed to low ambient tempera-
tures for extended periods of time. This
can then lead to an increase in temper-
ature in the fridge and freezer compart-
ment.
■
Always ensure the ambient tempera-
ture is kept within the specified range
(see “Intended use” on page EN-4).
If you set a lower temperature, you will
need a higher cooling performance.
This increases the energy consump-
tion.
Setting the temperature in the
fridge compartment
Ideally you need 2 refrigerator/freezer ther-
mometers to be able to check the refrigera-
tion output.
• Place one above the upper vegetable
drawer in the fridge; the correct temper-
ature here is +6 °C.
• Place the other in the freezer; the ideal
storage temperature is min. –18 °C.
