Danger when using
electronic household
appliances

Touching live parts may result
in severe injury or death.

Connect the appliance only
if the mains voltage corre-
sponds to the voltage dis-
played on the label.
■
Ensure that you plug the
appliance only into an eas-
ily accessible socket so that
it can be quickly discon-
nected from the mains in
the event of a fault.
■
Use the appliance only in-
doors; never operate it in
damp rooms or expose it to
rain.
■
Do not operate the appli-
ance if it is visibly damaged
(e.g. cracks or warping in
the housing) or if the mains
cord/plug is defective.
■
If the supply cord is dam-
aged, it must be replaced
by the manufacturer, its
service agent or similarly
qualifi ed persons in order
to avoid a hazard.
■
The appliance must always
be disconnected from the
mains if it is not supervised
and before assembly, disas-
sembly or cleaning.
■
Do not open the housing;
instead, have repair work
carried out in a specialist
workshop. Liability and war-
ranty claims will be rejected
in the event of repairs per-
formed by the user, improp-
er connection or incorrect
operation.
■
Only parts that comply with
the original device data
may be used for repairs.
■
Never immerse the appli-
ance, the mains cord or the
mains plug in water or in
any other liquid.
