OZONE
• Press the
Zero
key. The display will show “‑0.0‑” the meter is zeroed and ready for
measurement.
• Remove the cuvette.
• Add one packet of
HI93757‑0
Ozone Reagent. Replace
the cap and shake gently for 20 seconds.
• Replace the cuvette into the instrument and close the lid.
• Press
Timer
and the display will show the countdown prior to the measurement or, alternatively,
wait for 2 minutes and press
Read.
When the timer ends the meter will perform the reading. The
instrument displays the result in
mg/L ozone (O
3
) (chlorine free sample only).
Note: For samples containing chlorine, record this value as A.
ADDITIONAL MEASUREMENT PROCEDURE
For samples containing chlorine
• Fill the cuvette with 10 mL of unreacted sample (up to the mark).
• Place the cuvette into the holder and close the lid.
