• Never drive with the flatbed in raised
position.
• Do not overfill the trailer. Material that
falls out over the dropsides can cause the
trailer or towing vehicle wheels to lose
traction and skid.
• Do not overfill the flatbed if the load is to
be tipped. Large and heavy loads can be
difficult to handle and tip.
• Check that there is free space over the
flatbed when tipping.
• Close the dropsides when transporting the
trailer.
• The flatbed must be empty when
disconnecting the trailer from the vehicle.
• Do not use the trailer for any other
purpose than the one it is intended to be
used for.
• Make sure that the weight of the towing
vehicle and the driver is always greater
than the weight of the trailer and load, for
good driving characteristics.
• Do not use the trailer on public roads.
• Be careful on sharp corners – the tyres on
the towing vehicle can rub against the
trailer.
• Always reduce speed before cornering
with the trailer.
• Be careful and pay attention when
reversing. As far as possible reverse
straight back – if you need to turn when
reversing there is a risk of the trailer
knocking into the towing vehicle.
• Use wheel chocks to stop the trailer rolling
away when it is not connected to a
vehicle.
• If any of the nuts need replacing, replace
them with the same type of nyloc-nuts.
