Kneeling Leg Curl (IL-KLC)
Machine Weight:
lbs. = 250
kg. = 113.4
Max User Weight:
lbs. = 350
kg. = 158.8
Starting Resistance:
lbs. = 8 per weight rod
kg. = 3.6 per weight rod
Total Max Resistance:
lbs. = 100 per side; 200 total
kg. = 30 per side; 60 total
Max Plate Capacity*:
4-45 lb. plates
3-10 kg. plates
Size** (L x W x H):
in. = 72 x 49 x 43
cm = 182 x 124 x 109
Live Area*** (L x W x H):
in. = 108 x 97 x 43
cm = 274 x 246 x 109
NOTE: Do not use plates larger than 25 lbs (10kg)
NOTE: Capacities listed are calculated using a thickness of 1-1/2” for 25 lb weight plates and 46 mm for 10 kg weight
plates. If your facility uses thicker weight plates, the capacity may be reduced.
NOTE: **Dimensions are without weight plates.
Muscles Exercised:
Hamstrings & Gastrocnemius
Setup
Load the unit with desired amount of weight to ensure appropriate resistance and secure plates with retaining pin.
Rotate knee pad to desired side and place non-exercising knee on pad. Position opposite leg with upper thigh against
pad and knee aligned with machine pivot (axis of rotation). Tibia pad should contact the back of the lower leg, above
the ankle. Rest forearms on elbow pad and grip the handles.
Performing the Exercise
With a controlled motion, curl leg up until fully flexed. Return the leg to the start position and repeat the motion, while
maintaining proper body positioning.
TIP:
Feet position should depend on the goals of the exercise. Pointing the toes during the exercise allows focus on
the Hamstring muscles. Flexing the feet will increase activation of the Gastrocnemius muscle.
