Programmable Power Supply HM7044
Lineare Output Stages
4x 0-32 VDC/ 3 A + Sense
Max. 128 V or 12 A
Tracking Mode with free selectable Outputs
Keyboard and RS 232 control
Current control and over current protection
The HM 7044 offers DC voltages from 0 to 32 Volts at each
of its 4 outputs and a maximum current of 3 Amps at each
output. All outputs are independent, electrically isolated.
The outputs can be combined in either a series or parallel
array to either increase the voltage (max. 128 V) or the
current (max. 12 A) capabilities.
Voltage tracking mode is enabled in any output combina-
tion. E.g. output I and II as one tracking pair and output III and
IV as the second tracking pair.
In addition to the HM 7044 current and voltage control
functions, each output has an over current protection cir-
cuit. The latter switches the output off if the maximum
permissible current has increased, instead of limiting the
current. The over current switch off function can also be set
in such away that it effects several selected outputs at the
same time, if over current occurs on one of these outputs.
Voltage drop on the load cables is compensated automati-
cally over a wide range in combination with SENSE at each
output.
For power efficiency the HM 7044 is equipped with a
controlled switched mode power supply for each output
stage. These are followed by controlled linear output stages
with the advantage of low ripple and noise at the output.
The HM 7044 can be operated manually or via the built in RS
232 interface.
Accessories included: Mains/Line cable, Manual
