11-2 LIGHTSHEET READOUT MODE
Lightsheet Readout Mode is a unique feature of CMOS image sensor which provides improved
control over the rolling shutter mechanism.
By finely synchronizing the camera readout with the illumination scan, scattered light is rejected
allowing images of higher signal to noise ratios to be acquired.

11-2-1 READOUT DIRECTION
The camera reads out from the center line to the top line and to the bottom line simultaneously in normal
area mode. (Figure 11-13)
The camera reads out from the top to the bottom line or from the bottom to the top line in Lightsheet
Readout Mode. (Figure 11-14)
