1. Introduction
Thank you for choosing the X-Pointer Laser Presenter. These
operating instructions contain information about operating your
Presenter. Please keep these instructions in a safe place for
future reference.

• Software: MAC OS 10.6.2 or higher
• Hardware: USB BT adapter or built-in Bluetooth technology
4. Inserting the batteries (fig. 4)
• Remove the battery compartment cover and insert the
batteries into the battery compartment, observing correct
polarity.
• Replace the battery compartment cover and make sure that it
is securely closed.
5. Explanation of functions (fig. 5)

6. Connecting via Bluetooth
For the first connection, make sure that your are logged in as
administrator on the Mac.
Now press and hold the left arrow button until the LED flashes
orange. Click the Bluetooth icon in the menu bar and select the
“Setup Bluetooth Device ” menu item to open the Bluetooth
Setup Assistant. Select the “X-Pointer” device type and then
click “Continue”. Select the “X-Pointer” Bluetooth device that
was found and follow the remaining instructions provided by the
assistant. The successful configuration will be confirmed for you
at the end of the process.
The Keyboard Setup Assistant will then appear automatically. In
order to ensure that this display does not appear again, proceed
as follows:
If you want to manage several user accounts, you should log on
as the administrator.

A) Press the “Continue” button.
B) Press a button on the Presenter and then press a key
on the keyboard that you are using.
C)
Now press the “OK” button.
D) Select the appropriate keyboard type and then click
“Done”.
Warning:
Never point the laser beam into another person’s eyes or your
own eyes. Doing so may cause retinal injury.
7. Functionality problems
If the Presenter does not function as expected, make sure you
have carried out the following steps correctly:
• The batteries are new and have been inserted correctly.
• The Bluetooth device was successfully installed.
• The receiver and transmitter (Presenter) are within their
communication range (depending on location, max. 15 m).
