Operating instruction
Thank you for choosing a Hama product.
Take your time and read the following instructions and
information completely. Please keep these instructions in a
safe place for future reference.
1. Explanation of Warning Symbols and Notes
Warning
This symbol is used to indicate safety instructions or to
draw your attention to specific hazards and risks.
Note
This symbol is used to indicate additional information or
important notes.
Risk of electric shock
This symbol indicates product parts energized with a
dangerous voltage of sufficient magnitude to constitute a
risk of electric shock.

3. Safety Notes
• Use the product for its intended purpose only.
• Protect the product from dirt, moisture and overheating
and use it in dry rooms only.
• Do not drop the product and do not expose it to any
major shocks.
• Do not open the device or continue to operate it if it
becomes damaged.
• As with all electrical devices, this device should be kept
out of the reach of children.
Warning
• Never use the product for any other purposes (for
example as prescription glasses, sunglasses, safety
glasses, etc.), even for a brief period of time! This
could result in physical harm or impaired vision.
• Ensure that no fragile objects are nearby when you are
using the 3D function. You could damage these objects
or be injured.
• Watching 3D television for extended periods of time
may cause headaches or eye strain. Take a break if
you are not feeling well. Consult a physician if this
condition does not improve.
• Pregnant women and persons with heart problems,
epilepsy or mild nausea should not use the 3D
function.
Epilepsy Warning
Your television’s 3D playback and flashing lights, such as
are found in some films or video games, may cause some
viewers to suffer an epileptic seizure or stroke. Consult a
physician before using the 3D shutter glasses if there is a
history of epilepsy or strokes in your family.
Warning
• When inserting batteries, note the correct polarity
(+ and - markings) and insert the batteries accordingly.
Failure to do so could result in the batteries leaking
or exploding.
• Do not short-circuit batteries.
• Do not charge batteries.
• Do not throw batteries in a fire.
• Keep batteries out of the reach of children.
• Do not allow children to change batteries without
supervision.
• Remove the batteries from products that are not being
used for an extended period.

Panasonic 3D televisions with RF data transmission.
• The 3D function requires compatible hardware.

5. Startup and Operation
Switching the device on:
• Press the button on the top (Fig. 2).
• The LED flashes red for 3 seconds.
• Maintain the usage range recommended of 5 m or less
in order to ensure optimal functioning of the 3D shutter
glasses. The 3D projector’s signal may not be properly
received on the edge of this range or outside of this range.
Initial synchronisation:
• Press the button on the top for 3 seconds (Fig. 2).
• Once they are synchronised, the 3D glasses will find the
signal automatically the next time they are switched on.
Note - Initial synchronisation:
Ensure that the distance between the glasses and the TV
is no more than 50 cm during the initial synchronisation.
• The LED flashes red during synchronisation.
• The LCD glasses flicker when they have located the signal.
• The LED switches off automatically if it is unable to locate
a signal.
Note
• For the best 3D results, always shut off the lights.
Energy-saving lamps or fluorescent lamps may interfere
with the functioning of the 3D glasses.
• Devices such as microwave ovens or DECT telephones
can interfere with the transmission of the 3D signal.
For this reason, it is important to ensure that other
electronic or wireless communication devices are kept
as far away from the glasses as possible.
• If the signal is lost during the 3D experience, the 3D
glasses switch off automatically.
Switching the device off:
• Press the button on the left side (Fig. 2).
• The LED flashes red three times.
6. Care and
Maintenance
Changing the battery:
Warning
Ensure that the batteries are inserted the right way around
and that polarity (+ and -markings) is observed.
• Open the battery compartment on the right side (Fig. 1)
• Insert the CR2025 batteries, observing polarity and close
the battery compartment.
• Use a soft, lint-free cloth to clean the device.
• Never use aggressive cleaning agents or cleansers
containing alcohol, as they can damage the surface of
the LCD lenses.
Note
Check that the 3D glasses are safe to use at regular
intervals (at least every three months). Do not use the
shutter glasses if they are damaged.

warranty for damage resulting from improper installation/
mounting, improper use of the product or from failure to
observe the operating instructions and/or safety notes.
