7.4.2
pH Sensor Replacement
The
pH
sensor
should
be
replaced
every
year
for
the
best
accuracy.
Other
than
calibration,
there
is
no
maintenance
required
for
this
sensor.
It
does
not
require
wet
storage
when
removed
from
service.
1.
Use
Halogen
Repair
Tool
(included
in
kit)
and
insert
prongs
into
recess
in
pH
sensor
(Figure
16
and
Figure
17)

2.
Rotate
sensor
counterclockwise
(CCW)
to
unthread
it
(Figure
18).
3.
Remove
the
old
pH
sensor
and
replace
it
with
the
new
one
(Figure
19).
4.
Upon
Startup,
reset
the
pH
default
value.

grease

an

ring
applied.
7.5.
Five Year Maintenance Rebuild
It
is
recommended
to
have
the
factory
perform
a
5
‐
year
rebuild
of
the
sensor
to
replace
the
motor
assembly
and
any
worn
parts.
