The speed of the sparge agitation system is controlled by a
variable flow solution valve mounted on the solution pump (fig.
4.48). The agitation switch (fig. 4.49) on the right-hand console
controls the rate of flow through the sparge system. While watch-
ing the indicator on the sparge valve (fig. 4.50), increase or de-
crease the flow rate with the agitation control switch. Press up to
increase flow rate and down to decrease it. When desired rate of
flow is achieved, release the agitation switch.
