offers its NTB nitrogen toolbar in 12-
row, 16-row, 18-skip-row and 24-skip-
row configurations. In either case, the
6-ft. clearance allows growers to side-
dress nitrogen later in the growing
season — in some cases after tassels
have topped. NTB units are set for 30”
rows but can accommodate 20”, 22”
or 36” rows. They are capable of
applying 80 to 100 lbs. of nitrogen at
14 to 16 mph, which is about twice
the speed of tractor-pulled units.
