4. INSTALLATION OF DAMPERS
AGAINST JOISTS
Approved for outside fire cell
1.
Hole dimensions
Damper dim10 mm.
2. Angle brackets
Fix the supplied angle brackets spaced evenly around the
damper.

3. Fix the duct
Fix the duct to be installed through the structural element
against the damper fitting with plate screws.
Check that the screws do not hinder damper blade
movement.
Note the installation direction of the damper.
4. Centre in the hole
Place the damper casing flush against the structural element,
centre it in the hole and fix laterally with the damper and duct
system suspension devices.
5. Sealing
Seal the space between the damper and the structural element
with concrete or fire-resistant sealant.
