2.5 Ethernet Configuration
2.5.1 Configuring Ethernet Interface
Ethernet interface configuration tasks include:

Entering a specified Ethernet interface view
z
Setting network protocol address
z
Setting an Ethernet interface to obtain its IP address through DHCP
z
Setting frame format for sending messages
z
Setting MTU
z
Setting speed for an FE interface
z
Setting Ethernet interface mode
z
Setting Ethernet interface mode
z
Enabling or disabling loopback on an Ethernet interface
z
Configuring work mode of the VG
To configure the Ethernet interface, you should first enter a specified Ethernet interface
view. Then just configure IP address and use the default values for other parameters. If
necessary, you can also modify the parameters.
I. Entering a specified Ethernet interface view
Perform the following configuration in any view.

The Ethernet interface of the VG only supports Internet Protocol (IP).
