Usage guidelines

A NetStream entry for a flow records the source IP address and destination IP address, and two AS

numbers for each IP address. You can choose to configure which AS numbers to be exported as the
source AS and destination AS.

Examples

# Configure the device to export NetStream data in version 5 format and to specify the NetStream data

to include the source AS and destination AS.

<Sysname> system-view

[Sysname] ip netstream export version 5 origin-as

ip netstream filter

Use

ip netstream filter

to enable ACL-based NetStream filtering on an interface.

Use

undo

ip netstream filter

 to disable the function.

Syntax

ip netstream filter acl

undo ip netstream filter acl

acl-number

{

 inbound

Default

NetStream filtering is disabled. NetStream collects statistics about all IPv4 packets passing through the

interface.

Views

Interface view

Default command level

3: Manage level

Parameters

acl

 acl-number

: Specifies an ACL number in the range of 2000 to 3999.

inbound

: Filters incoming traffic.

outbound

: Filters outgoing traffic.

Usage guidelines

The NetStream filtering function is not effective on MPLS packets.
If NetStream filtering and sampling are both configured, packets are filtered first and then the permitted

packets are sampled.
An ACL referenced by NetStream filtering must already exist and this command takes effect only after the

ACL is created. An ACL that is referenced by NetStream filtering cannot be deleted or modified. For more

information about ACLs, see

ACL and QoS Configuration Guide

Examples

# Reference ACL 2003 to enable NetStream filtering in the outbound direction of GigabitEthernet

2/0/0.
