9. WARRANTY
The dealer/manufacturer from whom this device is purchased, provides
a warranty for the device for a period of two years after purchase. In the
case of a defect, the purchaser has the right of rectification by subsequent
performance. The subsequent performance consists either of rectification or
replacement delivery. Replaced devices or components become property of
the dealer/manufacturer. The proof of the right of warranty is to be provided
through a receipt or invoice of proper purchase. We accept no liability for any
damage resulting from changes made by the user and the user will indemnify
and hold harmless all third-party claims. Further claims held against the dealer/
manufacturer based on this warranty, in particular claims for damages due to
lost profits, direct or indirect damages are excluded.
The dealer/manufacturer reserves the right to repair, replace or refund the
purchase price. Costs and risks of transportation, installation and removal
costs and any other costs that may be associated with the repair cannot be
refunded. The liability for resulting and /or third party damage of any kind from
malfunction of the device is excluded.
Under the following points the warranty rights are not applicable and void and
the device will be returned at the customers costs:
– Damages caused by improper handling, operation, storage, acts of God or
other external influences.
– Any modification of any kind or unqualified repair attempts on the device, the
cables or the terminals.
– If spare parts are used other than the original spare parts approved by the
manufacturer.
– Damages occur by not following the manual and/or a wiring diagram.
– Damages caused by overloading.
– Damages caused by third parties.
– If the device is connected to an incorrect voltage or current.
– Damages caused by improper operation or careless use.
– Damages caused by bridged fuses or by the use of incorrect fuses.
– Improper connection and/or operation.
– Damages occurring through external force and/or mechanical overload.
– Damages occurring when the device is not used for purposes described in
this manual.
– If the device is opened without authorization.
– Damages due to normal wear.
– Damages occurring due to improper and/or incorrect use and/or defective
batteries.
10. NOTES ON ENVIRONMENTAL PROTECTION
Please note that electrical and electronic devices must never be
disposed of in regular household waste!
Consumers are legally obligated and responsible for the proper
disposal of electronic and electrical devices by returning them
to collecting sites designated for the recycling of electrical and electronic
equipment waste after the useful lifetime of the device has come to an end.
For more information concerning collection sites and correct disposal, please
contact your local authority or waste management company. The presence of
the symbol on the device, its packing or within the instruction manual indicates
that this item must not be disposed in normal and sorted municipal waste.
In doing so, you are fulfilling all recycling and disposal obligations and are
optimizing and contributing to a better environment.
