11. ERROR MESSAGE, FAULTS, CAUSES, SOLUTIONS
This equipment has a fault monitoring system. In the event of a fault, error messages may be displayed.
Error message

OVERHEATING DEFECT
The power source’s ther-
mal protections.
Exceeding the duty cycle.
Wait until the message has gone
before resuming welding.
SECTOR DEFECT
Mains voltage fault.
Mains voltage out of tole
-
rance or missing a phase.
Have your electrical installation
checked by an authorised tech-
nician. Reminder: the station is
designed to operate on a three-
phase, 400-480 VAC, 50 - 60 Hz
network.
PRESSED KEY
Keypad fault.
A key on the keypad has
been pressed when the pro-
duct is switched on.
Have the keypad checked by a
qualified technician.
COM. DEFECT
Gun COM. fault.
The gun and the power
source are not communica-
ting properly.
Reconnect the gun and turn the
device back on.
If the fault persists, have the
product checked by a qualified
technician.
OVERHEATING DEFECT
The gun’s thermal protec-
tion.
Exceeding the duty cycle.
Wait until the message has gone
before resuming welding.
DISCONNECTED PROBE
Gun motor fault.
The gun’s mechanism is
blocked.
Reconnect the gun and turn the
device back on.
If the fault persists, have the gun
checked by a qualified technician.
MOTOR DEFECT
Wire temperature sensor
fault.
The temperature sensor is
disconnected.
Have the keypad checked by a
qualified technician.
FRENCH WARRANTY CONDITIONS
The warranty covers any defects or manufacturing faults for two years from the date of purchase (parts and labour).
The warranty does not cover:
• Any other damage caused by transport
• The parts’ normal wear and tear (ex. : electrode holders and earthing rods, etc.).
• Misuse-related incidents (misfeeding, dropping or disassembling the device)
• Environmental failures (pollution, rust and dust, etc.).
Should the appliance malfunction, return it to your distributor together with:
- dated proof of purchase (receipt or invoice, etc.)
- a note explaining the breakdown
