6.1. SELECTING A CERAMIC FERRULE ADAPTOR
Choosing the right ceramic ferrule for the consumable to be welded (type and diameter). Standard ISO 13918 states
that the choice of ferrules depends on the type of parts to be welded.

For both standard and claw forks, the adaptor must be compatible with the ceramic.

6.2. HOW TO CHANGE THE CERAMIC ADAPTOR
Standard fork
Claw fork
Unscrew the two screws and remove the adaptor plate.
Unscrew the screw and pull out the claw.
Replace with the correct adaptor plate, making sure the
countersunk holes are facing outwards and tighten the
two screws.
Reposition the correct claw until it can go no further and
tighten the top screw.
