9.3. LIST OF MESSAGES DISPLAYED AT THE BOTTOM OF THE WELDING SCREEN
Message
Description
Gun disconnected
No gun is connected to the device
Dinse disconnected
The gun’s positive dinse is not connected to the power source (no. 5 - Fig. 2).
Inverted dinse
(Only in SYNERGY mode). The polarity of the dinse required by the synergy is the opposite
of the machine’s current dinse polarity.
Ready
After the resting cycle, the product is ready to weld.
Movement only
The trigger was pressed without a consumable being in contact with the support sheet. The
gun then carries out a mechanical movement on its own, the power source is not switched
on.
Contact
The device detects that a consumable is in contact with the support sheet. If the welding is
being done under gas shielding, the gas solenoid valve will open for the Pre-Gas phase.
Welding
Current welding cycle.
Welding finished
The welding cycle is finished.
Pre-Gas
This is displayed when the machine detects that the trigger has been pressed before the
Pre-Gas phase has ended (see § 9.4.4). For the welding process to be successful, it is
necessary to remain in position (with the consumable still in contact with the support sheet)
and to wait for the Pre-Gas phase to finish.
Contact lost
This is displayed when the contact between the consumable and the support sheet has
been lost before the Pre-Gas phase has finished.
Arc breakage
An arc break has occurred during the welding cycle.
The welding must be checked.
Gun lift
This is displayed at the end of the welding cycle if the gun is still in position on the consumable.
