motor brake.
Motor turns off
during operation.
1.
Thermal
sensor of the
motor is
defective.
2.
Motor circuit
breaker
turns the
motor off
due to
overload.
1.
Have it
replaced by
an expert.
2.
Wait until the
motor is cold.
Turn on after
5 - 10
minutes
again.
Reasons of
overload
1.
Too long
power cable
or too small
cross-
section of
the power
cable.
2.
Rotary saw
not sharp
enough.
1.
Let an expert
to install new
power supply
(also
extension
cables must
be rated
adequately).
2.
Sharpen or
replace the
rotary saw.
3.
Teeth of the
rotary saw
are of
incorrect
rake.
3.
Create
correct teeth
rake (by an
expert).
The material
being cut has
traces of
burning.
1.

Maintenance
Maintain, clean, and service the machine only when the
drive is turned off and the machine is stable. The drive
must be disconnected in case of erroneous function.
Before every use, please check all bolt and insert
connections as well as protective devices for tightness and
correct setting, and whether all rotating components move
freely.
Visually check the machine to find any damage, in
particular the power cable and plug.
Check correct installation of the saw blade before turning
on/off the switch.
Keep the machine, in particular ventilation slots, clean at
all times.
Regularly clean the splinter output and/or dust removal. Do
never spray water on the machine!
Treat all rotary components with environmentally friendly
oil.
Do never use grease!
Check wear and tear of the saw blade; blunt saw blades
must be sharpened; sintered saw blades must be cleaned.
Ball bearings of the saw shaft are dust-protected and
require no maintenance and greasing.
Repairs and works not described in this manual must be
performed by a qualified expert staff.
Use genuine accessories and spare parts only.
Only properly maintained and well treated machine may be
a serving assistant. Neglected maintenance and care may
result in unexpected accidents and injuries.
Maintenance table
Before
operation
Check for damage of the rotary saw,
power cable, and the machine in
general.
After operation
Clean the cradle saw by a brush or use
cloth to remove sawdust.
Sawdust and dust on the cooling ribs
may cause excessive heating of the
motor -> clean regularly.
As needed
Sharpen the rotary saw or replace, if
needed. Make sure the teeth rake of
the rotary saw is correct.
After longer
idle period
Oil the rotary saw.
Regularly
Check tightening of the screw joints.
Check mechanical brake to maximum
braking time 10 seconds.
(See table “Troubleshooting” Failure:
motor does not brake)
Motor braking device
The motor braking device can stop the saw blade motor
within 10 seconds. Should the stopping take more than 10
seconds, the brake is defective and the machine may no
longer be used. Then, unplug the machine from power and
let a qualified electrician to repair the motor braking device.
Regularly (weekly or after 40 hours of operation, or more
often depending on frequency of use) check the time the
braking device needs to stop the saw blade motor.
