8.0 - SELF-POWER SUPPLY
9.0 - FINAL OPERATIONS
The GT 800/2 alarm system siren is equipped with a rechargeable “backup” battery which
allows the alarm power supply in case of alarm wires cut.
The siren will recharge following a disarmed alarm and with the ignition key switched on for at
least 16 hours. The protection is operating only when the alarm system is armed.
Ensure that the alarm system loom is installed correctly. Reassemble all the parts and carry
out the final test. Check an alarm trigger with the siren at maximum power. Opening the
bonnet, the boot or one of the doors a signal is sent, which will trigger the alarm system.
The RAPID TEST procedure can be stopped in two ways:
A -
After about 2 minutes from the test function activation, the alarm system emits a long
acoustic signal and it comes out automatically if any other sensor has not been activated.
B -
Pressing the door locking button from the original vehicle handset the alarm system emits
a long acoustic signal and it comes out from the function. If the doors locke but the alarm
remains disarmed, you will need to disarm and rearm the alarm using the original remote
control handsets to restore correct sequence.
If the RAPID TEST procedure has been correctly performed (from the points 1 to 6), but
you wish to carry out it again, ensure that the alarm system is disarmed and repeat the
operation from the point A (Earth the GREEN/YELLOW wire).
