10.1 - ALARM SYSTEM ARMING/DISARMING.
Locking the doors using the original remote control handset, the alarm system will arm and
it will generate 1 acoustic signal (if the function is activated you will obtain also a visual signal
supplied by the indicators). Unlocking the doors using the original remote control handset,
the alarm system will disarm and it will generate 2 acoustic signals (if the function is activated
you will obtain also 2 visual signals supplied by the indicators).
If the original handset fails to operate, it is possible to disarm the alarm system carrying
out the EMERGENCY DISARMING WITH THE “GT CARD CODE”.
10.2 - ELECTRIC WINDOWS CLOSING COMMAND FUNCTION
If the vehicle is equipped with “comfort” function, the electric windows will close when arming
the alarm, otherwise to have this function it necessary to use an additional modules.
10.3 - PROTECTIONS.
- Engine immobilisation.
- Boot/bonnet/doors contacts. If a boot, bonnet or doors are not closed when arming, you may
observe a long visual and acoustic signal on the indicators, or it can be caused by the timer
delay circuir of the courtesy light.
- Volumetric protection of the passenger compartment.
- Power supply wires cut (only when armed).
- The interruption of the positive power supply (RED wire) doesn’t cause the vehicle’s stop
(FAIL SAFE).
10.4 - IF THE ALARM SOUNDS …
Should the siren activate, it will sound for about 28 seconds. A press of the original remote
control handset button will unlock the doors, silence and disarm the alarm. The alarm will
generate 4 acoustic signals instead of the normal 2 (if the function is activated you will obtain
also 4 visual signals supplied by the indicators).
10.5 - CHECK STATUS LED.
Your alarm is equipped with status check flashing LED. In order to verify an alarm trigger,
disarm the alarm, the LED will flash a sequence according to the triggered sensor (see the
table below). Record number of flashes and contact your installer. Note: two or more triggers
on different sensors (i.e. doors and bonnet) will be signalled in order by the LED (i.e. 4 flashes
-pause - 5 flashes - pause - 4 flashes - etc.).
