Coding
If you enter an incorrect code number;
in the display:

" .
After approx. 3 seconds:
the radio does not play!
Begin again. Note the “waiting periods”
between attempts.
Deactivate coding
e.g. before removing the car radio:

Waiting periods
Waiting periods are required between
activation attempts so that “return to
operation” is not possible by trial and error.
During these waiting periods the car radio
input function is locked for all entries.
The car radio must be switched on during
these waiting periods:

SAFE
" in the display.
The waiting period is over when, the number
of the next attempt is visible in the display e.g.
"
