Radio stations offer the “programme types” 
service in FM range (RDS l, RDS ll, RDS lll).

Programme types

The programme types a radio station offers
change according to the programme being
broadcast.

3.Start or continue PTY search

Briefly press the

PTY search goes to the next station that is
offering the selected programme type; 
"PTY  …" in the display.

During the PTY search you can switch to
another programme type using the
memory buttons.

If no station is offering your selected 
programme type, you will hear the last 
station that was tuned in.

4.Switching off the PTY function
