Notes:
1. The same batch of
SPADNS reagent
solution must be used
for adjustment and test. If using a new batch of
SPADNS
reagent
solution, a new calibration has to be performed with
the reagent (see Standard Methods 20th, 1998, APHA,
AWWA, WEF 4500 F D., pages 4-82).
2. As the test result is highly dependent on exact sample and
reagent volumes, the sample and reagent volumes should
always be metered very accurately.
Press the [Mode] key.
Press the [Shift] and [3][3] keys.
Confirm with the
key.

Select the required method from the
displayed list or enter the method number
directly.
Confirm with the

In case of differentiated methods, make a
new selection and confirm with the
key.

• To display all stored results of the
selected method, press the
key.
• To print the displayed result, press the
[F3] key.
• To print all selected results, press the
[F2] key.
• Finish with the [Esc] key.

SPADNS reagent

) to the 10 ml
deionised water. Caution: vial is filled to
the top!
6. Close the vial tightly with the cap and
swirl gently several times to mix the
contents.
7. Place the vial correctly in the sample
chamber. See fig.

8. Press the [Test] key.
9. Remove the vial from the sample
chamber, rinse vial and cap thoroughly
and fill the vial with exactly 10 ml
