Since all bearings on the G0900 are sealed and
permanently lubricated, simply leave them until
they need to be replaced. DO NOT lubricate them.
Below is a list of components that require periodic
lubrication. Do not over-lubricate these compo-
nents. Large amounts of lubricant will attract
sawdust, causing the metal components to gum
up and bind.
Lubrication
1. DISCONNECT MACHINE FROM POWER!
2. Unlock guard and fence assembly from table
by loosening lock knobs pictured below in
Figure 63.

5. Apply a thin coat of lubricant to slides and
leadscrew.
6. Use handwheel to fully raise and lower
spindle housing to distribute grease.

2. Lower spindle housing assembly fully by
turning handwheel counterclockwise.
3. Use rag and mineral spirits to clean away
grease and built up grime from surfaces of
both slides and threads of leadscrew (see
Figure 62).
