Assembly
Disconnect the plug before any
work on the equipment. There is a
risk of injury.
Assembling the Curved Handle
Attach cable strain relief:
Push the cable strain relief (
14) over the bottom bar (
3).
Install lower bar:
Slightly spread the ends of the
lower bar (3) and place them on
the threaded bolts on the right
and left of the housing.
Put on the washers from the
package and screw on the bot-
tom clamping levers (5).
Lock the clamping levers (5)
by pushing them towards the
bar (3). Clamping levers to be
tightened and contacting the bar
such that they clamp at average
force.
Otherwise you may have to
tighten (turn clockwise) or loos-
en them (turn anticlockwise).
Install curved handle:
Use the screws and washers
from the package as well as the
top clamping levers (2) to mount
the curved handle (1) on the
right and left ends of the bottom
bar (3). Three positions are pos-
sible.
Turn the clamping levers (2)
clockwise.
Lock the clamping levers (2) as
described in section .
Clip on the cable hook:
Clip on the cable hooks (
12)
to the bottom bar to fasten the
connection cable (
15).
Installing the grass catcher
Assemble the grass catcher:
Clip the rubber lip of the grass
catcher net (19) into the hard plas-
tic tray of the grass catcher (6).
Insert the linkage tubes (20)
into the grass catcher net (19).
Make sure to fully insert the
tubes (see small figure).
The tube bows fit into the
groove (21) at the bottom of the
grass catcher
Pull the plastic straps (22) over
the linkage tubes (20).
Use the screws and washers
(23) from the package to tighten
the linkage tubes (20).
