• Clean the equipment before putting it
away.
• Empty the oil tank before longer peri-
ods of non-use. Dispose of waste oil
environmentally correctly (see „Waste
disposal and environmental protection“).
• Put on saw bar protection sheath.
• Store the appliance in a dry place well
out of reach of children
• Before a longer period of storage (e.g.
over winter), remove the battery from
the equipment.
• Only keep the batteries partly charged.
The charge condition should be 40-
60% during a longer storage period.
• During a longer storage period, check
the state of charge of the battery and
recharge if necessary roughly every 3
months
• Store the equipment between 10°C
and 25°C. Avoid extremes of cold
and heat during storage, in order to
prevent impairment of battery perfor-
mance.

by regular maintenance of your
chainsaw. Furthermore, you get opti-
mum cutting performance and avoid
accidents.
