Injury hazard!
Prior to commissioning the device, you
must:
- assemble the blade and the sawing
chain
- tension the sawing chain
- fill it with biological chain oil
- charge and insert the battery
(see „charging process“)
- test the oil automatics and the oper-
ability of the chain brake
The device may be used with the
following battery-powered devices:
- Battery 24 V, 2 A
- Battery 24 V, 2 A
Note that the saw can re-oil.
Please note that the saw re-oils after
use and oil may leak out if it is stored on
its side or on the head. This is a normal
process due to the necessary ventila-
tion opening on the upper edge of the
tank and does not constitute a reason for
complaint. As each saw is checked dur-
ing production and tested with oil, a small
residue may be in the tank despite drain-
ing, which may slightly dirty the housing
with oil in transit. Please clean the hous-
ing with a cloth.
Fitting the blade and saw
chain
Switch off the device and remove
the battery from the device.

1. Place the device on a level sur-
face.
2. Turn the blade fastening screw
(14) anti-clockwise in order to
remove the chain wheel cover
(15).
3. Spread out the sawing chain
(5) in a loop so that the cutting
edges are aligned in a clock-
wise direction.
4. Insert the sawing chain (5) in
the blade groove.
5. Place the blade (4) on the rail
bolts (22) so that the tensioning
screw (23) is exposed.
6. To assemble, hold the blade (4)
tilted upwards at an angle of ap-
prox. 45 degrees in order to be
