10.1 Powering up the unit
Once performed all actions described in the previous
paragraphs, you can proceed and power up the unit
using the switch
“37”
.
The lamp should switch on within 15 seconds from the ig-
nition of the unit. Should the lamp not switch on, the op-
eration will be automatically repeat 3 times.
If it should happen that the lamp did not turn on, discon-
nect the unit from the mains and switch on the power sup-
ply again.
10.2 Unit control panel
The control panel is located in the base of the projector.
When the unit is turned on, will perform a reset function
and the display shows the fixture type and the installed
software version.
After this operation, the display shows DMX addresses,
and indicates the presence of the DMX signal.
In the presence of the DMX signal the red led will steadily
be on while in the absence of DMX signal the led will flash.
The green led is on during:
• DMX address is setting
• menu setting
10.2.1 Reading the display and using controls
MENU
button:
Each time this button is pressed, the display will show the following functions, sequentially:
• address setting;
• options setting.
UP
and
DOWN
buttons:
By pushing the “UP” and “DOWN” buttons, values of the function which is shown in the display can be changed.
ENTER
button:
Keep the “ENTER” button pushed, until the display and the SET led flash, in order to memorize the function which
is shown on the display.
10.2.2 Setting DMX address
The display shows the unit’s address when the unit is turned on.
Follow this description to modify the address: press once the “MENU” button and go to address set-up. Then se-
lect the desired value (between 1 and 499 ) through the “UP” and “DOWN” keys. Press “ENTER” to confirm.
Each unit will use
13
DMX channels.
When the
Kolorglobe MK2 4000
is connected to a standard controller, it can be con-
trolled singularly ( PAN and TILT through a joystick), taking into account that it takes up
13
channels, it will have to be set as per table on the side.
