4.3 Reading the display and using controls
MENU button: each time this button is pressed, the display will show the following functions, sequentially:
- address setting;
- options setting.
UP and DOWN buttons: by pushing the UP/DOWN buttons, values of the function which is shown in the display can be changed.
ENTER button: keep the ENTER button pushed for a few seconds (until the display and the green led light flash), in order to
memorize the function which is shown on the display.
Address set-up: the display shows the unit’s address when the unit is turned on. Follow this description to modify the address:
Press once the menu button and go to address set-up. Then select the desired value (between 1 and 512 ) through the up and down
keys. Press enter to confirm.
4.4 DMX Standard mode
When the unit is connected to a standard controller, it can be controlled singularly ( Pan and
Tilt through a joystick), taking into account that it takes up 11 channels, it will have to be set
as per table on the side.
Operating with GRIVEN GR0171 Controller
When the Globe unit is connected to a DMX Griven GR0171 Controller, set it as per table
on the side, to be able to control it (Pan and Tilt through a joystick) and taking into
account that it takes up 11 channels.

WARNING: the frequent and extended use of the electronic
strobe effect will noticeably reduce the lamp life. It is stron-
gly advisable not to use the electronic strobe effect longer
than 10 minutes also to prevent the activation of the thermal
protection (de-activation of the electronic strobe effect,
100% lamp on).
