4.5 LEDs MEANING
When the green led is flashing, the unit is waiting for the signal from a controller and it is projecting a vertical light beam. This
happens when the unit is not connected to any DMX controller and the values of the functions are L (stand -alone mode).
The green led is on when the unit works in stand-alone mode or it receives a DMX signal.
The red led is on when:
1) The DMX address is beingset;
2) The menu is beingset.
4.6 OPTIONS
OPTION 1: It reverses the PAN movement direction.
Push the MENU button repeatedly until the display reads option 1 (see picture on the side). By using the
UP/DOWN buttons, option 1 can be set either to L (deactivated) or to H (activated). Push ENTER to con-
firm.
OPTION 2: It reverses the TILT movement direction.
Push the MENU button repeatedly until the display reads option 2 (see picture on the side). By using the
UP/DOWN buttons, option 2 can be set either to L (deactivated) or to H (activated). Push ENTER to con-
firm.
OPTION 3: It reverses Pan and Tilt:Pan function is inverted with Tilt function and viceversa .
Push the MENU button repeatedly until the display reads option 3 (see picture on the side). By using the
UP/DOWN buttons, option 3 can be set either to L (deactivated) or to H (activated). Push ENTER to con-
firm.
OPTION 4: EMPTY
OPTION 5: Automatic/Master
Push the MENU button repeatedly until the display reads option 5 (see picture on the side). By using the
UP/DOWN buttons, option 5 can be set either to L (deactivated) or to H (activated). Push ENTER to con-
firm.
OPTION 6: Lamp ignition
Push the MENU button repeatedly until the display reads option 6 (see picture on the side). By using the
UP/DOWN buttons, option 6 can be set either to L (deactivated) or to H (activated). Push ENTER to con-
firm.
OPTION 7: Exclude Encoder
Select on the exclude the Pan and Tilt movement electronic connection system. the encoder. This function
comes useful temporarily when one of the two sensors is damaged thus preventing the unit from functio-
ning
OPTION 8:TEST mode, The sequence of all the functions of the unit is executed.
Push the MENU button repeatedly until the display reads option 6 (see picture on the side). By using the
UP/DOWN buttons, option 6 can be set either to L (deactivated) or to H (activated). Push ENTER to con-
firm.
Note
In case of more GLOBE units connected serially, one of the units can be set as the Master, which is the leading unit. The Master unit, which must
be set to automatic mode, will control all the other units, so that lighting effect sequences will be performed in perfect synchrony.
All the Slave units, which will be connected to the Master unit, must be set to address 001 and their automatic functions must be set to L
4.7 Switching off the unit
Follow these instructions to switch off the unit:
1 - Turn the ON/OFF switch off 1 - pict.13.
2- The lamp will turn off.
Warning:
If you turn off the unit by using the mains switch (see 1 - pict.13), the automatically delayed turning off of the cooling
fans will be cut out. In this case, the extreme temperature inside the body-light might permanently damage the reflector.
