Insert the PAN Stopper by rotating it counterclockwise.
3.3 Electrical connection
1)Connect the main unit to the ballast set by the power supply socket (A) and the signal connector for the electronic strobe (B).
2) Cable the 16 Amps Gewiss plug to a mains cable 3x2,5mm + n earth.
3) Insert the plug in the relevant socket and connect the lantern to a mains supply of 380V - 50/60Hz.
4) Ensure that the mains cable is connected to earth; the thermoswitch must have the following electrical characteristics:
rated for (In) 25A - sensitivity (Id) 0,03A
5) Turn the mains switch (1-picture 13).
Due to the sensitivity of the lamp it is very important to check the power consumption on the
ammeter (2-picture 13). The suggested lamp power consumption rate should be between 125/130 A;
- if the power consumption is 120/130 A the plug must be on NOMINAL position (5-picture 15)
- if the power consumption is approximately 110 A the plug must be on -2,5% position (7-pict.13)
- if the power consumption is more than 130 A the plug must be on +5% position (7-picture 13)
Note
: Check the power consumption on the ammeter display five minutes after you turned the unit on because the power consump-
tion is higher during the first minutes.
